Jeanine studied nursing and specialised in the treatment of Buruli ulcer. Her motivation? Anger at the disease that took her only sister.
She says that, since then, she has developed a “passion for wounds”. She finds fulfilment in providing free care to those most in need, and helping to cure this condition.
