At the MSF project in Agok, South Sudan, Mohamad mainly deals with snakebites. Several of the world’s most dangerous snake species are native to the country; their bites are fatal without the administration of antivenom. Nevertheless, the problem is largely ignored; hardly any antivenom is being produced.

Prior to working with MSF, Mohamad was a research assistant at a renowned university in Beirut. Although he was collecting huge amounts of data there, there was a lack of concrete results. This makes him value his work with MSF even more:
