Leila, 42 years of age, is Swiss. She held a senior position in a large Swiss company but chose to leave it all behind.
She is now responsible for supplying medical and logistical equipment to projects in the north-east of DRC. This is a daily challenge, given the state of the infrastructure: a truck can take two weeks to travel 1,000 kilometers, the airstrips are just earth and become waterlogged after the rains.
