Martin Ouattara

Nursing Activity Manager

Martin’s first contact with MSF was in his home country of Ivory Coast. In 2002, the country was racked by war and violence. Martin could have been among the victims, but the emergency teams deployed there recruited him as a nurse.

He has been working with MSF since then, wherever there is greatest need for his expertise. In his view, good humanitarian workers “want to keep going in the face of the horror” and channel their anger into changing things.
